The painting is called, “Where Do We Come From? Who (or What) Are We? Where Are We Going?”

Background:

This painting by the French artist Paul Gauguin has the longest and most interesting title that I know of, consisting of those three questions.

The painting doesn’t give any answers to those ultimate questions of life.

But neither does our modern world.
