This is in line with the preceding chapter, where the suffering servant would be a \u201clight for the gentiles\u201d (42:6), and later in 49:6, \u201cthat my salvation may reach the ends of the earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Whom I have created for My glory<\/h3>\n<p>God created mankind in His image, so we were intended to reflect the glory of God, but that image was tarnished by man\u2019s choice of sin which brought suffering and death into this world.<br \/>So God\u2019s salvation of mankind through His suffering servant, Jesus, will not only restore us as righteous before Him, but it will be to His glory.<br \/>Verse 48:11, reads, \u201c<em>For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this, How can I let myself be defamed?
