Reflections on Holy Communion

Source ...

Many years ago, as I worshipped in the Churches of Christ, I was invited to join occasionally in leading in Holy Communion, which included giving a short talk on the significance of this meal, and I was told the talks should be no more than six minutes in length.

These reflections are drawn from the occasional talks I gave over many years, and I hope they may be meaningful to you.

During later years, a new pastor gradually reduced leading by members, so the later talks were reduced in length to three minutes, before being stopped with the changes in worship style.
