Reflections on Bible Verses

Several years ago, I joined a group where each week we are given a bible verse to reflect on during the week, and we then share our personal response to the verse when we next meet, before a time of prayer. I value those evenings because each of our responses are entirely different, and I am given new perspectives outside of my experience.
In the hope that my personal reflections on those verses may be of value in a similar way to you, I have presented them here.
