Welcome to a reflection on life’s difficult questions,
and how they relate to Christian belief
Progress on this website ...
Although this website is still being developed, especially the lengthy Discover section, other sections are well advanced, so I have published it on the web in the hope you may find those advanced parts to be useful, or you may have ideas to improve the site.
Life’s Questions — the framework is in place, and several questions have been entered;
Discover — there is much work to be done in this section, but some topics have basic questions and references entered;
Basic Beliefs, Creeds, and Reflections — these sections are complete, and the Reflection section is being updated with a new entry each week;
Links page — several references have been listed. There are many more which could be included, but user suggestions would be best;
Contact form — now working. If you would like to share any other thoughts, or suggest other topics or features for the site, please use this form to let me know;
Forms for users to contribute — not yet tested, but user contributions are welcome.
I hope to develop the site to an advanced level during 2026. As user contributions are welcome, I hope the site will be permanently growing.

About
Purpose of this site
Purpose?
What drives our lives. and the desire to move mountains,
is not based on human logic.
There is no accounting for love of beauty,
for desire to give without reward,
for love of another without return,
or the hunger for ultimate truth.
A gift
Just for a moment let us suspend this world’s mean scepticism,
and take delight in what we have been given.
Let us assume that good and evil, and right and wrong, are absolute realities, and our lives are created for a purpose;
That our creator has given us all we need to know,
and is actively involved in our lives.
I hope you will discover that makes perfect sense of our world,
and fills you with hope and the deepest joy.
How to use this site
This site is for people who are curious or perplexed about Christian belief.
I hope you will find that Christian belief is not about knowledge, it’s an experience of relationship.
And I hope the following sections will introduce you to that experience.
1. A discussion page about Life’s Difficult Questions — the important questions of life for which this world doesn’t appear to have answers;
2. A set of basic questions with bible references for you to Discover what the Bible says to you.
3. A summary of Christian Belief and Creeds — an overview of what many people discover in reading the Bible, but which cannot replace your experience of discovery from the Bible.
4. A set of personal Reflections — about various aspects of belief, which I hope may be of interest to people.
Two other pages follow:
5. About — further explanation about the purpose of the site; and
6. Contact form — to send any messages you may have. Please use this if you have any concerns, or to suggest topics which are relevant to this site.
Purpose of this site
There are many videos on YouTube about Christianity, but I found much of that to be confusing and unsuitable for the curious inquirer. The purpose of this site is to:
1) Provide a brief introduction to what Christian belief is about;
2) Suggest possible ways to further explore and discover;
3) Provide a forum to discuss questions about life and belief;
4) Share thoughts and reflections to encourage others in that journey.
Since I started to set up this website, I did an Alpha course, and I think that is the best introduction to Christian belief — by sharing in person with other people. But that can require a commitment of time, and entering a church can be a difficult challenge, so I hope this site may provide an entrance to those further steps.
